Gujarati Mandal of Calgary is excited to announce our annual Dassehra event on Saturday Oct 12, 2024 at 3 pm.
To ensure a smooth and enjoyable event for everyone, we’ve introduced a refundable registration fee structure. Our community has grown significantly, and managing meal catering has become challenging. By implementing a refundable fee structure, we can better estimate attendance, reduce food waste, and optimize our resources.
How it works:

• Registration: Register for the event and pay the fee (details below)
• Refund: After the event, those who attend will receive a full refund
• No-shows: If you register but don’t attend, the fee will not be refunded
• Showing up w/o registering: $20 (members & non-members), not eligible for any refund

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to provide a memorable Dassehra celebration for our community.

Event Schedule:

• 3:00 pm: Pooja
• 6:00 pm: Aarti, 5 short Garbas
• 6:30 pm: Prasad (Dinner)

  Event Fees:  $10 per adult (member), $20 per adult (Non-member).   All children 10 and under are FREE but registration is required.  Non-member fees are not eligible for any refunds.

  Registration: We kindly request all attendees to register by October 9th, 2024. This will help us plan for seating arrangements and preparation of Prasad.
