Seniors Picnic

Gujarati Mandal of Calgary (GMofC)’s Seniors committee in partnership with Edmonton’s Alberta Gujarati Association (AGA)’s Seniors are pleased to organize a joint Seniors Picnic at the Peter Lougheed Community Centre in Rimbey, Alberta – just north of Red Deer.

Here are the details:

Venue:  Peter Lougheed Community Center, Rimbey, Alberta (about 2 hours from Calgary)

Date & Time:  Saturday June 3, 2023 – Full day.  Leaving Calgary at 7 am and returning at 6 pm from Rimbey

Registration fee:  GMofC members (Active 2023-24 members) $25, Non-member $40.  The fee includes bus transportation, breakfast, lunch, and light tea in Rimbey, and an entrance fee to the Rimbey Auto Museum.   The museum is one of a kind and does include a guided tour.

Registration fee is nonrefundable nor transferable. Please register as soon as possible, but no later than May 23, 2023.

We are planning for 2 buses for our members to travel and have a fun-filled day of activities with Edmonton Seniors.  There will be pickup & drop-off points in South East and North East Calgary – closer to Deerfoot Trail.

Please register using the link below at your earliest convenience.  More details will be sent to the registered members closer to the time.  Along with your registration please indicate if you will be taking the bus from the South East location or North East location.
