Gujarati Mandal Diwali Dinner

Namaste Members,

Gujarati Mandal of Calgary (GMofC) committee is pleased to organize our annual Diwali and Entertainment program on Saturday Nov 9^th 2024.
WHERE:  RIO Banquet Hall, 2850 Hopewell Place N.E. Calgary, Alberta T1Y7J7.  This is a premier banquet hall in Calgary and known for the high-quality Indian food.

WHEN:   Saturday Nov 9^th 2024, at 6 pm (Doors open at 5:30 pm).  Program will start at 6:15 pm SHARP
MEAL:  A full vegetarian meal. Non-alcoholic event with an option to select no onion/garlic meal.

ENTERTAINMENT:  This year we are excited to bring at our Grand Diwali event:

• Professional group Madhuban Performing Arts with Founder, Artistic Director, Ishita Singla
• Professional group Prim Danceworks
• Community performances choreographed by Vivek Pathak from Prime Danceworks perform

Based on the insights from last year’s survey, we have diligently applied the lessons learned to implement meaningful improvements that aim to provide an exceptional experience for our members

TICKETS:

• Member – $45 for adults, $25 for children 5 to 12.
• Non-members: $60 Adults, $35 for children 5 to 12
• Children under 5 will be FREE (Members and Non-members) – must register to get a seat allocated.

TICKET PURCHASE ONLINE PROCESS:  There are tables of 10 and 8.
You will need the following information for each ticket you wish to purchase: Name, age, Membership ID, Option to request Non-Garlic/Onion Food.  All ticket sales will be online and there are limited seats so please book early.
No refunds or exchanges of any kind once the purchase is completed. Membership verification will be done so please ensure you are current members of GMofC to buy “member” tickets.

Suggested dress code:

• Females – Chaniya Choli, Gujarati Style Sarees
• Men – Kurta / Pajama, Traditional Gujarati or Indian suits
