Gujarati Mandal of Calgary (GMofC) is pleased to organize our annual Diwali and Entertainment program on Saturday November 5th, 2016 at the Grey Eagle Event Centre. We are very pleased to bring back popular Tania and Vishal’s SPARQ Productions group as our main Entertainment group with variety of Bollywood items. SPARQ production presented excellent program during our 2014 Diwali event. We will also have some GMofC community items including Garba and Raas items that were presented at the Gujarati Cultural Festival in Vancouver over the Labour Day weekend.
WHERE: Grey Eagle Event Centre
WHEN: Saturday November 5, 2016 at 6 pm (Doors open at 5:30 pm)
MEAL: A full vegetarian meal with grand dessert choices. NON-ALCOHOLIC event
THEME: Traditional Gujarati
TICKETS: $40 members, $50 non-members, $20 Member Children (5 to 12), $25 for Non-member Children (5 to 12) and Free for children under 5 (tickets required).

As you all know, Gujarati Mandal of Calgary is very excited to bring to you the Diwali Dinner & Entertainment program on Saturday, November 05, 2016 at Grey Eagle Event Centre.
To get everyone into the spirit of Diwali, we have organized a Rangoli competition provided any number of entries. Entries are open to all ages so members get creative and show your artistic talent.
If you wish to participate, kindly register by October 25, 2016, with Parulben Patel – email
and provide your full name and phone number.
Rangoli can be in any shape but not more than 1.5 feet* feet if it is square and 1.5 in diameter if it is round. You can use cardboard, thali or any material which you can carry to the event and bring it back to home.
Members are requested write their name on the back of dish or plate and bring completed Rangoli right at the event and give it to Parulben Patel or Vipulbhai Patel.
